Tell us a little bit about yourself
Father of four 20-somethings and on my second marriage (11 years). I enjoy running, watching sports, TV, and movies, and I love to travel and experience new things.
How did you learn about SAEC?
I was referred to SAEC by one of our clients.
What aspect of your role are you most looking forward to?
I look forward to meeting new people, bringing in work, and growing the Phoenix Office.
What would people never guess you do in your free time?
Watch reality TV.
What's your all-time favorite movie? TV Show?
Fast Times at Ridgemont High and Survivor.
Before working at SAEC, what was the most unusual or interesting job you've ever had?
In high school I worked as a "grill boy" for a pizza chain restaurant for two weeks. When I found out that we had to clean the floors, toilets, garbage cans, floor mats, etc. EVERY night AFTER our shift, I gave my two weeks notice. It was the shortest job that I ever had and cemented the fact that I definitely needed to go to college!
What is a random fact that most may not know about you?
I actually used to have A LOT of hair (I will send you a photo for this). [Blogger note: I don't believe you, send it!]
Describe what you were like at 10 years old
At 10 years old I was a tall, extremely thin child (stick boy) that loved to ride my bike and play baseball and football with my friends against other neighborhoods.
What's your nickname?
They called me "stretch" from high school through college.
If given a chance, who would you like to be for a day?
I would absolutely love to be the Owner of the New York Mets for a day so that I could spend the money on the free agents that they need!
If you could witness any historical event, what would you want to see?
I would like to witness the moon landing in 1969 to verify that it actually happened. There are a lot of conspiracy theorists that believe that this may not really have happened and that it was all staged in a remote studio somewhere.
What book did you last read?
What children's character can you relate with most and why?
I love Goofy! He is tall like me and I hope to retire and work as him at Disney some day (I will send you a photo for this too). [Blogger note: can't wait!]
Where is the best place you have traveled to and why?
The best place that I have traveled to is Hawaii. I have an uncle there and he showed me some absolutely beautiful locations. I know that you did not ask, but the worst place that I have traveled is Libya as it was filthy (but not too many people get to go there)!
What is the weirdest thing you have on your desk?
Currently it is an electric pencil sharpener. It is very rare that I even use pencils, but I have had it since my first job after college and don't want to throw it out since it still works.
If you could learn to do anything, what would it be?
I would like to learn some more Spanish, especially now that I am in Arizona. I took it in middle school and high school, but could really use a refresher.
What have you always wanted to try but never have?
Driving a race car.
What is your all-time favorite restaurant?
I do not know the name of it, but I was at a conference in California once and a company took us out to entertain us. It was an extremely high-end restaurant in Anaheim that overlooked the city of Los Angeles where you could see all of the lights at night. They had a single waiter in a tuxedo for each table and I had a most excellent steak dinner!
